Nestled in the picturesque village of Kannaviou in the Paphos region at an altitude of 400 meters, Ezousa Winery is a family-owned boutique winery that embodies the spirit of Cypriot winemaking tradition. Established in 2003 by owner and winemaker Michalis Constantinides, the winery takes its name from the nearby Ezousa River, which flows through the valley and influences the unique terroir of the region. The vineyards benefit from the area’s volcanic and calcareous soils, as well as the humid environment created by the river’s presence, resulting in distinctive wines that reflect the character of the Kannaviou landscape.

Ezousa Winery combines traditional Cypriot methods with modern, innovative techniques to produce approximately 52,000 bottles annually from four hectares of vineyards. The winery specializes in indigenous grape varieties such as Xynisteri and Maratheftiko, which are complemented by international varieties including Mourvèdre and Viognier. Michalis Constantinides brings meticulous attention to detail to every aspect of production, from vineyard management to bottling, with a philosophy centered on achieving balance and elegance in every wine. The winery’s commitment to sustainable practices ensures minimal environmental impact while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Visitors to Ezousa Winery are welcomed with warm Cypriot hospitality and can enjoy guided vineyard tours and wine tastings in the winery’s tasting room. The winery’s distinctive labels feature the frogs of the Ezousa River, symbolizing the connection between nature and the winemaking process. Whether sampling their acclaimed Xynisteri white wines, the elegant Maratheftiko rosé, or their red blends, guests experience firsthand the passion and dedication that goes into every bottle.
