Cellar 27 Wine and Cocktail bar (which opened early 2017) sits on Athinon street and it’s a smashing little find – aesthetically delightful with an array of premium cocktails and wines. The purpose of the venue was to offer people a stylish bar where customers could enjoy quality drinks, relaxation, food, fun and live events in a chilled environment. And they succeeded. It offers live musical entertainment three times a week, 75 different wines (chosen by two popular sommeliers) and over 30 cocktails including well-loved classics and creative signatures. If you don’t want to cook them at home and prefer to enjoy them cooked right there to have them over a cold beer Bavarian is open for lunch daily and dinner on Wednesday and Friday. Besides sausages and fries, sandwiches made with cold cuts from the delicatessen and burgers and schnitzel are also available.

It is also said that the Ottoman sultan Selim II invaded the island just to acquire Commandaria; also that the grapes used to make this wine were the same grapes exported to Portugal that eventually became famous as the source of port wine.

Deli by day, casual bar-restaurant by night, Limoncello is all about fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Its main suppliers – the grocers and butchers of Ayios Antonios Municipal Market – are just a stone’s throw away. The small menu features piadina (Italian pizza-style flatbread), steaks, fish and meat dishes (the oven-roasted duck is delicious), as well as quirky artisan burgers. You will find the tables of the Limoncello Deli-Bar huddled amongst various food stalls of this old (but recently renovated market), but don’t let this put you off. Limoncello is the perfect lunch stop or the great place to spend the evening. Its name ‘Limoncello’ is that of the popular Italian lemon liqueur and certainly hints at the fact that most of the dishes have a distinctly Italian flavour! Dafermou Winery is located outside Lefkara village in Larnaca region and was established in 2011. It has 5 hectares of vineyards with grapes such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Maratheftiko, Assyrtiko, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

The story of success though lingers on with the fabrication of bottled wine. Later on with his sons, Christaki and Doro establish the family winery in Pachna Village well equipped with modern vinification under controlled hygienic conditions. The accumulated experience and knowledge passed on from generation to generation, in combination with the love for fine wine, allowed the manufacture of the modern wine series of Yiaskouris Winery.

Generation after generation, the family vineyards at Vouni Panayia are cultivated with passion, great care and respect to the exceptional viticultural character of the area.

Commandaria holds a protected designation of origin (PDO) within EU, U.S and Canada. Other wines produced by the Menargos winery are: Menargos Cabernet Franc, Peratis Dry Red, Elli Dry White, Varvatos Dry Red and Alexandrinos Sweet Desert Sun Dried.

Kalamos Winery is located in Amargeti village in Paphos region. The winery is owned by Mr Nicos Ignatiou who runs it together with his son Thanasis. The winery produces wines from Mataro, Xynisteri and Maratheftiko grapes.

KEO Winery in Pera Pedi is located in Limassol region. The winery is situated in one of the most impressive buildings in the village. It was originally built by the British and the calcareous rock from the nearby hill was used as it’s construction material. The winery receives 3 million kilos of various dark grapes from it’s greater surrounding area.
