The Cyprus Wine Museum Located in Erimi village, this museum celebrates 5,500 years of Cypriot winemaking history. Features include historical exhibitions, the exclusive “Senses” wine collection, and a venue for regular cultural concerts and events.

Discover the legendary Commandaria wine at this award-winning museum in Zoopiyi village, one of Cyprus’s historic wine-producing communities. Opened in 2010 in a striking contemporary building, the museum takes visitors on a 5,000 year journey through the history of “the wine of kings.” Explore four galleries showcasing ancient wine vessels, traditional equipment, and the story of this unique dessert wine. The museum also features wine tasting facilities, a café-restaurant, and the still-operational Zoopiyi Commandaria Winery founded in 1940.

Last year (2016), SODAP- Kamanterena Winery has won 25 Medals and Awards in International Competitions such as, the Decanter Wine Awards , the International Wine & Spirits Competition the International Thessaloniki Wine and Spirits Competition theAWC Vienna International Wine Challenge and special Competitions such as the Chardonnay du Monde, and the Rose du Monde, held in France.

Deli by day, casual bar-restaurant by night, Limoncello is all about fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Its main suppliers – the grocers and butchers of Ayios Antonios Municipal Market – are just a stone’s throw away. The small menu features piadina (Italian pizza-style flatbread), steaks, fish and meat dishes (the oven-roasted duck is delicious), as well as quirky artisan burgers. You will find the tables of the Limoncello Deli-Bar huddled amongst various food stalls of this old (but recently renovated market), but don’t let this put you off. Limoncello is the perfect lunch stop or the great place to spend the evening. Its name ‘Limoncello’ is that of the popular Italian lemon liqueur and certainly hints at the fact that most of the dishes have a distinctly Italian flavour! Another real bonus is that it has the best delicatessen for miles around and it has a lovely casual ambience which is perfect for relaxing. The menu is small but definitely tempting with steak and real good burgers as the two main dishes but an array of pizzas and salads also on offer and delicious piadina (sandwiches). The winery now cultivates many of the vines and land that once had fallen to ruin. Dafermou Winery is located outside Lefkara village in Larnaca region and was established in 2011. It has 5 hectares of vineyards with grapes such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Maratheftiko, Assyrtiko, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

The story of success though lingers on with the fabrication of bottled wine. Later on with his sons, Christaki and Doro establish the family winery in Pachna Village well equipped with modern vinification under controlled hygienic conditions. The accumulated experience and knowledge passed on from generation to generation, in combination with the love for fine wine, allowed the manufacture of the modern wine series of Yiaskouris Winery.

Generation after generation, the family vineyards at Vouni Panayia are cultivated with passion, great care and respect to the exceptional viticultural character of the area.

Commandaria holds a protected designation of origin (PDO) within EU, U.S and Canada. Other wines produced by the winery are: Menargos Cabernet Franc, Peratis Dry Red, Elli Dry White, Varvatos Dry Red and Alexandrinos Sweet Desert Sun Dried.

Kalamos Winery is located in Amargeti village in Paphos region. The winery is owned by Mr Nicos Ignatiou who runs it together with his son Thanasis. The winery produces wines from Mataro, Xynisteri and Maratheftiko grapes.

KEO Winery in Pera Pedi is located in Limassol region. The winery is situated in one of the most impressive buildings in the village. It was originally built by the British and the calcareous rock from the nearby hill was used as it’s construction material. The winery receives 3 million kilos of various dark grapes from it’s greater surrounding area.

LOEL winery is located in the town of Limassol. It is one of the biggest wineries in Cyprus making wine from grapes grown in Paphos and Limassol region. Their vineyards include over 20 hectares of vines such as Maratheftiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spourtiko and Sauvignon Blanc. LOEL planned to install new modern technology into their wine production by 2005 that produce 7000 bottles per hour.

Monolithos Winery in Pachna village in Limassol region is located at an altitude of 750 metres. It is a family-owned boutique winery using only local grapes. They strive to create wines that are “old world” whilst at the same time making use of modern technology.

Cyprus, the “Island of Love”, birthplace of Aphrodite, is for over 300 years home to Lambouri Winery. Our exclusive wines are created in Platres, a village famous for its winemaking traditions, located 1128 meters above sea level, at the southern slopes of the Troodos mountain range.

Makkas Winery is located in the community of Statou – Agios Photios in Paphos region. The winery was founded in 2007 and is run by Mr Andreas Psaras. A modern winery is currently being built in Paphos area and is expected to be complete in 2014. The new winery will open the doors for visitors to experience the wine and winery first-hand.

Zambartas Wineries was founded by Akis Zambartas in 2006. After years in the wine business as Chief Winemaker and Managing Director of one of the biggest wine producers in Cyprus, he decided to follow his dream of establishing his own boutique winery.

Driven by his love and passion for wine, Sophocles Vlassides realized his lifelong dream by establishing Vlassides Winery in 1998.
